Your first journey
Use this checklist while playing. The order follows community documentation of the Kamo tutorial; follow your current quest journal if a patch changes an objective.

Choose a weapon deliberately
Vulcan offers Gauntlets, Novice Blade, Rustic Spear and Longsword. Community reports associate these with light, medium and heavy classes. Read the selection prompt carefully before committing: changing class may require a character reset.
Our advice: try the combat rhythm before investing heavily. A weapon you can reliably time is more useful than an unfamiliar option chosen only for its rarity.
After the tutorial
Use the quest notebook to pick your next objective. Release guides place your first grimoire quest at level 15. At that point, follow the grimoire route.
